The Goat Boat is the UK’s first and only Caribbean-themed BBQ boat takeaway.
When we’re in season, we fire up the grill on canals and waterways across the country, serving smokey jerk, island spices and proper street-food vibes – all to take away and enjoy on the towpath, at home or on the move.
We’re now closed until Spring 2026 while the boat is in dry dock and we get ready for another year of sunshine flavours on the water.

About The Goat Boat
The Goat Boat started as a family dream to bring real Caribbean street food to the UK’s canals.
Instead of a traditional restaurant, we chose something different – a floating BBQ takeaway, complete with jerk drums, smoke, and sound-system energy.
From pop-ups at marinas and canal festivals to special appearances alongside our sister brand The Goat Yard, The Goat Boat keeps moving, bringing Caribbean flavour wherever we drop anchor.
No bookings. No table service. Just freshly grilled Caribbean BBQ, cooked on board and served to go.
